My Caller ID - Spinning Wheel

My wife and I both are unable to turn off/on caller id from our iPhones because when we go into the phone settings and select 'Show My Caller ID' all we get is the spinning wheel next to the option.

iPhone 12 and iPhone X, both on the latest iOS version 15.3.1

As my wife is a School teacher she uses this feature frequently and it seemed fine until this week, the end of February (maybe 15.3.1 had just been updated).

We have restarted both phones numerous times, including going into iTunes, which shows as software up to date.

Try this on your phones (it's worked for me in the past): turn off wifi and then turn on aeroplane mode for a few seconds then turn wifi back on and aeroplane mode off. Go to Caller ID and it should work.

Here is a similar scenario to try: Completely close the Settings app Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support Open Control Centre by swiping down on right side of screen, turn off wifi and turn off aeroplane mode for a few seconds, turn wifi back on then aeroplane mode on, open Settings and go to Caller ID.

You can also try dialling a mobile number and whilst ringing go back into Settings and see if you can change Caller ID.

Thanks for the suggestion picas, but it didn't work for me (iPhone 12, iOS 15.3.1)
