Having two cursors on M1 Air Display while playing games

Hello all! I have noticed that when using programs that have their own pointer mouses (like teraria) i get stuck with two mouse pointers controlled by 1 mouse. This is on the built in display with no monitors. there is a game display that is part of the game but the Mac OS one is still there as well. I cant see it but it hits the borders, and if i bring up the command + shift + tab menu it will show up on top of the boarder, regardless of if i switch apps. is there a way to fix this?

Hello Person7472,

It sounds like you'd like to be able to control both cursors separately when using programs that have their own pointers or even disable the pointer outside of the game.

You could add an external mouse to see if that resolves the issue.

If you'd like to change your mouse preferences, check here for different ways to configure your mouse: Change Mouse preferences on Mac

You might also want to reach out to the game developer to see if they have any suggestions for using your mouse more efficiently within the game: How to contact an app developer

1. Open the App Store on your Mac.
2. Click the sign-in button  or your photo.
3. A list of apps appear. Click the app that you want. If you can't find the app, use the search bar.
4. The app's product page appears. Scroll to the Ratings & Reviews section, then click App Support. If you don't see App Support, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID.

Take care.
