O2 sensor

Is there a way to calibrate my Blood Oxygen sensor on a Series 7 Watch? It produces readings wildly out of range from my finger pulse oximeter. I have a lung condition that results in my baseline of between 88-92% under normal activity. I'm getting readings of 94-97% from my watch. More concerning is that when my oxygen drops to below 85 (a cause for concern) my watch says its unable to get a reading or comes up with 92-94%. Before referring me to the standard page of how to use this app, suffice to say this isn't my first rodeo. I simply want to know if there is a way to calibrate the app? yes or no. The ECG is bang on. The O2 meter is not.

Hello grangequest,

To get the best results within the Blood Oxygen app, follow these steps:

How to get the best results
1.) Rest your arms on a table or in your lap while you take a measurement. Keep your wrist and palm down and flat, and hold as still as you can.
2.) Make sure that your Apple Watch isn’t loose on your wrist. The band should be snug but comfortable, and the back of your Apple Watch needs to be touching your wrist.
3.) Make sure that the back of your Apple Watch is flush with the top of your wrist. If your wrist bones interfere with this, move your watch 1 to 2 inches up your arm away from your wrist bone.
