Apple ID living in multiple countries.

I live & work between the UK, Canada and the US, and need apps & subscriptions in each. Does Apple really require me to log out fully, clear my balance and cancel all subscriptions just to move between countries, or am I missing something? On android this was a simple question of switching accounts on the fly, and if it really is this broken on iOS it will be worth switching back for this alone.

Thanks for input all!

Apple does require you to log out fully, clear your balance and cancel all subscriptions just to move between countries. A workaround is to have one ID for each country to use in the App Store/iTunes Store. You need a valid credit card issued by a bank in the country the store is in and you need a billing address in that country.
