Printing landscape documents - won't change orientation

Hi everyone,

Trying to print Word documents and my calendar in landscape form but can't! When I print a landscape document it prints in portrait.. When I go to print off my monthly calendar from the Apple Calendar it won't let me select landscape. See screenshot:

Any ideas?!

Apple Pages.app no Auto Rotation option when printing? Apple Preview has this option when printing. Apple Pages doesn't appear to have this option. I have labels that are 4 inches by 6 inches that I wan't to print in landscape mode, just like an envelope is printed... 4 inches tall and 6 inches wide. The only way I can get the text and layout to work is to use Portrait mode and rotate all of the text. Why do we have to rotate all of the text in order to print in landscape? I am feeding the short edge of the label into the printer first not the long edge of the label. If I layout the addresses on the label like an envelope and print the label the text prints as if I had the page in Portrait mode when it's most certainly not. For comparison... who feeds an 8.5 x 11 page into the printer sideways with the 11 inch edge first!!! Very confused here. Switching the dimensions for height and length in page setup does nothing.

Changing Print Attributes in Keynote 10.1 I frequently use Keynote in portrait mode. I was able to create a custom "Portrait" theme to create the slides, but when I print them they come out in Landscape orientation. In the print window I can go: Presets -> Show Presets -> Page Attributes and it shows me that "Current -> Orientation" is Landscape, but nothing in the list is editable. Is there an obvious way to edit any of the page attributes displayed? Am I the only person who uses portrait mode with presentation software, or has Apple's usability really degraded below that of Microsoft Office and Libre Office to the point they do not have a simple switch between landscape and portrait orientations both for creating the slides and printing them?

Landscape for PDF Hello, I want to create a landscape template. But when I export to PDF document comes out as portrait. I can arrange when I print but I cannot save as PDF from print option. I’ve been working on a sheet that converted from excel and even though I’ve been deleting the empty columns etc PDF was turning all of them into pages. So I’ve decided to create the template out of scratch. I have to take PDFs from every document. This is killing me. How can I arrange my sheet as to be seen as landscape İn PDF? Thanks

It sounds like you need some help with printing certain items in landscape mode on your Mac.

We will be happy to help. The first article shows how to change orientation, and you should be able to change that for Microsoft Word. Print documents from your Mac

For the calendars, it doesn't appear that printing in landscape mode is available natively. You may leave feedback about this for Apple here:
