Alarm to sound regardless of phone on silent mode

So I’ve been noticing since a recent update.. sometime within iOS 15.x.x my alarms will not play the sound. I always keep my phone on silent by using the side switch but the phone always sounded the alarms. Now it will only vibrate which is a hassle as I don’t like phone calls and texts to have sound.

This is a huge issue as I don’t wake up for work unless my 35 alarms aren’t obnoxiously loud and an alarm clock is not very convenient for me.

I’ve been looking into using shortcuts to sort of force the phone to turn off silent mode but I haven’t found anything yet.

any suggestions from the community?
