My display brightness is on auto mode.
while using iPhone in sunlight the display goes dim, even when the brightness is showing full.
i Have tried restarting my phone that solves the problem only for few hours after that the same problem continues.

It sounds like the brightness on your iPhone isn't working properly. We'll do our best to help out.
For this, we'd confirm that Night Shift is disabled in Settings > Display & Brightness: Use Night Shift on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
We'd also check in Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size that Color Filters or Reduced White Point are both disabled, as well.
Then Restart your iPhone
If the issue persists, then it would be best to connect with Apple Support: Get Support
They'll have to take it from here.
