Removing old eSim

I cannot delete old esim profiles that have ‘NO SIM’ beside them. When touching the profile the only option is to move contacts to an active plan. There is no prompt to delete. There are no options when sliding left.

I have spoken to the carriers and they have no control over it.

When you migrate data such as when buying a new phone, the disused profile is transferred to the new phone with no data or settings for a network. It’s simply a label that remains with ‘NO SIM’ beside it.

There us no way to remove disused labels.

This is on Apple.

aaron272,

As recommended in the article below, contacting your carrier is the best step towards resolving eSIM-related issues.

Transfer or convert your current SIM to an eSIM on your new iPhone

Hello aaron272,

You can remove this eSIM profile from your iPhone. Check out this page to learn how: About eSIM on iPhone. There is a section at the bottom of this page labeled "Erase your eSIM."

If you need to erase your eSIM, follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap either Cellular or Mobile Data.
3. Tap the plan you want to erase.
4. Tap Remove Cellular Plan.

We hope this information helps you out.

Cheers!
