Airpod pro case overheating causing the earbuds to melted!!

I left my airpod pro charged over night. In the morning noticed the case was really hot and I open the case found out one of my earbud melted. Took the airpod pro to apple store. The tech there check it out and was going to replace a new earbud ( still under the warranty) but he think something is wrong with the case causing the earbud to melt. So he recommended for me to send it to Apple repair facility. I went to send it after 2-3 days. I received a message saying need to pay $89 to repair the earbud Due TO THE earbud is damage. They said it is not warranty because it is damage not defected. called and talked to many people. Nothing they can do. This is so wrong. Apple need to do better at this. There are plenty cases when you search up airpod overheating on google.
