On my 6th Gen iPad iOS 15.3.1, I was able to send and rec texts until this Saturday, 3-5-22. Now I can’t. I have turned iPad off and on. And I have forced a restart. My iPhone does show capability to forward texts to iPad. But like I mentioned. This was working until a couple days ago! Help! What do I need to do?

How to forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your iPad, iPod touch or Mac - Apple Support -- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding. If your iPad isn't selected, select it now and see if you can send SMS messages to Android phones.
If it is selected, deselect it then Restart your iPhone - Apple Support. Once your iPhone is back to the Home screen, go back and add your iPad again and test.
