I have an older iPod touch

It's running version 4.2 and it does not allow me to put in a code, how do i sign into my apple account?

To sign in with 2 factor authorization, just add the sent code after the password. So if password=pass and code = 110011, just enter pass110011

Dear Apple I have a old Ipod touch i tried a reset on this device and got to the part where it sends code to my phone thought after that it would allow access the ipod it just repeats request for number i can log in to apple ID + on PC and have itunes installed i also tried reset with volume button and holding in power button 15 sec (still cannot get the ipod touch to accept ID log in and password correct. Any help i would be most grateful Yours G Evans
