I want to sign into my own apple Id on my Itunes store. My dad, the previous owner doesn’t have access to anything anymore and i know his password to the icloud on the app store it just won’t let me update apps. how do i fix

Delete and redownload those applications; his Apple ID is stored inside them. Without being able to log into it, there aren't any other ways.
