What are your thoughts about M1 Mac Mini vs New Mac Studio?

My goal here is that I need a new desktop.

A fully equipped M1 Mini is so much cheaper than this new amazing Mac Studio and it comes with some good upgradeable features.

To follow-up, would you say the Mac Studio is overkill for a remote worker/student?

Mac mini or Mac studio I have a 27" mac, late 2014. I use it for home computing and a little gopro editing. Its starting to struggle and I want to upgrade. Will the Mac Mini M1 do the job or should i get the Mac studio. I want to get good life before having to replace. Looks like I am up for a new display as well. Cheers

worth waiting for new mac mini for Logic? So after all the bad reviews of the Macbook Pro terrible performance and the noisy Mac Studio, I have set my mind on the Mac Mini, has the best reviews and is silent, but should I go for the M1 or wait till the new Mac Mini is released? it would be nice to have extra USB A ports for sure and more than 16gb RAM. but is it likely to be released this year?

Studio Weight (M1 Max): 5.9 pounds (2.7 kg)
Studio Weight (M1 Ultra): 7.9 pounds (3.6 kg)

vs Weight: 2.6 pounds (1.2 kg)

x2 height plus x2/x3 weight = bigly grossly bigly.
