my daughters phone went completely haywire a while back and just started imputting different passcodes while she was using it and than locked her out of her phone. I can not get back to a place where i can reset this passcode for her. what can i do

If you can’t get your iPhone to show the recovery mode screen and you need help, contact Apple Support.

iPhone unavailable, Passcode forgotten, iphone Locked, or Disabled

You can sometimes remedy this without a computer if on iOS 15.2 or later by tapping on "erase iPhone" , but you will still need the Apple ID password. It will WIPE the phone, no choice!
