Sony WH-1000XM4 problem with Monterey
I have the Sony WH-1000XM4 bluetooth headset. It worked fine with older macOS. But I recently updated to the Monterey. Whenever I temporary take off the headset and put them back during conversation (when the microphone is used), it becomes silent (no audio output, nor input). The headset stays connected to the MacBook but all sound becomes broken. The only solution I found so far is to not use headset's microphone (force MacOS to use MacBook's embedded mic instead, but this has the be configured each time the headset is connected).
Proximity sensor switching off in Sony app doesn't help (it's switched off for music playback, but doesn't affect headset issue (wen both playback and recording is used - i.e. in voice calls).
This is SO CONFUSING AND ANNOYING to have new 3000$ MacBook Pro and 300$ Sony headset and have such a poor behavior.
Any help? Thanks...
