I don’t remember my Apple ID or password. Answer security question and it says it’s wrong. What do i do. My I pad is new

Help please . I don’t know my Apple ID or password. The email I set it up with has been delete for years. And it’s telling me the answer to my security question is wrong. What do I do please help. I am setting up I new iPad thank you

Even if the email address has been deleted, it can still be an Apple ID email address.


See if you can recover the ID/password. Use every email address you can think of.


Apple ID - How to find your Apple  -  An iCloud e-mail address is an Apple ID.


Apple ID - Find  -       


If you forgot the Apple ID (iCloud) password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option if necessary. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.

Apple ID – Forgot Password  *      


If you are being told there isn't enough information to reset them, contact Apple ID Support.


If you don't know the answers, if the steps in the article below don’t work, contact Apple ID Support, although based on multiple posts I have read, they will not help you recover the answers to your security questions.
