I added an M-Audio Midi keyboard and the first run though it worked flawlessly. Now I try to open Logic Pro and I get the "Scanning Audio Units (finalized 0 of 3)" pop-up and it never moves from there.
If I abort the scan it freezes and I have to force quit logic Pro.
I've emptied my components folders. I've emptied my vst folders and nothing has worked.
"(finalized 0 of 3)" indicates that there are still 3 plugins installed.
1. Did you search for the two (!) components folders?
"/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components" into the Go to Folder field, then
click Go.
choose Go > Go to Folder, enter "~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components"
into the Go to Folder field, then click Go.
Where are third-party Audio Units plug-ins installed on Mac?
2. Did you restart your computer after emptying the components folder?
3. If you still have problems, start logic without core audio (hold CTRL), then check the plugin manager.
