iWork

Hello.

How can I install iWork on Catalina (Macbook pro 2012)?

The last products to use the iWork branding were in the iWork '09 DVD. Those are 32-bit applications and are not supported on Catalina.


If you have never installed Pages v5, Numbers v3, or Keynote v6 (or later versions of these) on any Mac, then you cannot install them now on Catalina, because the current Mac App Store versions (11.2) requires macOS Big Sur or later.


Otherwise, on Catalina, you may be able to get the last compatible versions (11.1) of these three apps. Launch the Mac App Store and be signed in with that same Apple ID. Press cmd+0 (zero) to open the Purchased panel. If Pages, Numbers, and Keynote appear there, then click the Update button for Pages. You will get a dialog that tells you that you will need a newer version of macOS. Acknowledge that, and do not click Cancel. It won't upgrade your Mac, and a second dialog may then appear offering to install the last compatible version of Pages for Catalina. If that works, repeat for Numbers and Keynote.
