Location in Forecast Widget

I just upgraded to Monterey, and I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to change the forecast widget from Cupertino to My Location. I've edited the widget and enabled Location Services in System Preferences, but it still insists on showing me the forecast for Cupertino. Does anyone know what I've missed?

Right-click on the weather widget when it drifts onto your screen. Choose Edit "Weather". Click Location, and then My Location, and location services will choose the closest weather source to you. Click Done.

You allow the weather widget to drift onto your screen with the Cupertino location. It is that weather widget that you then right-click on to get at Edit "Weather" which you also click on that string. Now it shows Location. You click on the Location string, and the panel changes to a new panel with My Location on it. You click that string and it should use your Wi-Fi location to establish your weather source. The Location should show My Location, and then you click Done. Should be no more Cupertino.

Hi, VikingOSX.

Here's what I've done. Click on the Time and Date in the menubar. When the Notification pane slides out, click Edit widgets. Click the Weather widget. When it turns around, select My Location (which is on the East Coast), then Done and Done. And it still shows me the forecast for Cupertino. (If I select New York City - it switches from Cupertino to NYC.)
