GoodNotes4 backup

Hi, I have an intention to transfer my goodnotes4 document to goodnotes5 on my new ipad. I accidentally backup all goodnotes4 documents on the old ipad via itunes and then all files on goodnotes4 are gone. I cannot import these documents on either old or new ipad and hope you could help.
