Good Morning - I have followed all the steps provided re: DND, volume, blocked callers, it's not in headphone mode, rebooted my phone per the instructions provided to another user on your Q/A, and I still see silence always or while iphone is locked - there are no other options and I can't take it off 'while phone is locked' because then it will default to 'always'. The DND button is off, I don't have any callers blocked, etc. Help! Thanks!

You have to have one of those two options selected -- there are no other choices. But it doesn't matter which option you have selected if Do Not Disturb is off because neither of them do anything unless Do Not Disturb is on.

88% Maximum Capacity is higher than I expected from an original 5½ year-old battery likely due for replacement. ...Is your iPhone 7 glitching in any other way, or only not ringing?
Also, your profile indicates you're running iOS 14 – so I suggest you update to iOS 15 and see if your iPhone then rings:

I have checked everything that has been suggested from volume, to silent mode, to restarting my phone, to silenced callers and blocked callers, DND, etc. If there is a mute button other than the button on the side of the phone that shows 'vibrate' or 'ring', I am not aware of it. Thanks!
