Magic Mouse stops scrolling after waking up from overnight
I have a MacBook Air 2020 with the M1 chip. It is running Monterey 12.0.01. I recently purchased a Magic Mouse. Everything works just fine except the scrolling function after both the computer and mouse have been asleep, specifically overnight. It does sometimes happen during the day if I have left it sitting for a while. My fix so far has been to turn off the mouse, open preferences/mouse and then turn on the mouse again. Once it finds it and I click to connect it works again. I have not had to reboot the computer to regain the mouse function. But disconnecting and reconnecting the mouse is annoying. All other features work on the mouse when this happens. What is the permanent fix for this?
