Unable to put AirPods in Lost Mode

I can’t put my air pods in lost mode or track them. I have not lost them yet but it doesn’t give me those options to put it in lost mode.

so recently I’ve found out you can place your air pods on lost mode and block people from using them etc. but when I try and find the same options for my air pods it only displays directions and play sound. Unlike my phone it give me said “lost mode” feature. Anyone else?
