iBooks app not syncing

Hello,

The content on the IBooks app is synced everywhere ( MacBook Pro, IPad Mini and IPad Air 4th) except on my IPad Air 2 ( ICloud back up is on) where all I can see is the Ipad Manuals.

if anyone can help me figure out a solution I’d be grateful. Thanks.

For the first time I used the backup facility that is now in Finder. The backup process managed to delete all of the PDFs and documents from my iPad Library except one purchased book and when I select Sync all books with my iPad none get synced from my iMac to the now empty iPad Books Library. So i now have an iPad with none of my 100+ PDF documents on it! I left the device syncing overnight in case it was a bandwidth issue but no change. The new backup facility is USER HOSTILE. It tells you nothing, gives no indication of the state of the backup process except for a circular indicator in the sidebar entry for the iPad and you can't even stop backup unless you force quit Finder. There have been a few posts recently about the poor quality of Apple's software but this takes the biscuit. Any help or advice would be appreciated

iPadOS 16.2 iCloud Files Issue iCloud sync files don't show on iPad files app. Everything is enabled for sync as much on the iPhone. On iPhone, everything is fine with the iCloud Folder showing in the Locations section on the Files app. But on iPad is completely missing. I delete and reinstall the app. I restart the iPad but nothing. It shows only the On My iPad folder, Google Drive, TeamViewer, and Recently deleted. iCloud is a ghost! What is happening?

iCloud backup has nothing to do with syncing. Make sure Books is turned on for iCloud Drive in Settings > Books. It's also possible the iPad Air 2 is getting too old.

I cloud drive is on on the settings of Books app

So it must be the age thing, I was afraid that would be the answer id get. Oh well😢 thanks.
