Cable to Connect HP printer to Macbook pro

I need a cable to connect HP Officejet 6962 to my macbook. WiFi connection between devices does not hold.

How do I connect a samsung CLP 680ND printer to my mac running Monteray 12.6.2 I'm looking to use a Samsung CLP 680ND toner printer (received from father) to print via my iMac - it's running Monterey 12.6.2. I have no manufacturer disk and have done some searching but am struggling to find a driver for the printer. I've plugged it in via USB as I believe it's not wireless - it's not being auto recognised. I've tried to install drivers relating to 10.15 etc, but can't see anything later. Any ideas please as would be a shame to bin an expensive bit of kit because I can't get it to connect properly.

It depends on whether your MacBook Pro has USB ports or is a newer model with the smaller USB-C ports
