Speaker phone - iPhone 11 Pro

Has there been a fix for the iPhone 11 Pro speaker. Whenever I change from my ear to Speaker phone, I'm told by the person on the other end that I'm breaking up. It has been the same since I bought the phone six months ago, and is the same if the phone is inside a cover, or "naked". It's incredibly annoying when one has paid so much for a phone to have it not working properly. But perhaps Apple has done the right thing and provided an upgrade to fix the problem as it appears I'm not the only person with this problem.

Hmm, I'm not aware of an issue in that area. An on-line search turns up lots sites, but nothing specific.
