new magic Keyboard not working properly

I have an iMac 21.5-inch, Mid 2011 running High Sierra 10.13.6.

I bought a new magic Keyboard without the touch id key, to replace the original bluetooth keyboard.

The problem is that function keys don't work (play/pause, mute, volume up and down, etc)

I searched the internet how I can come around this problem but after so many hours, could solve the problem.

When the original keyboard is connected I can see the "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys." choise.

When the new magic Keyboard is connected (both wired and wireless) thw choise is not there.

When I press the function buttons nothing happens and there is the normal "nothing" sound playing.

I tried to install "Usb Overdrive", I tried restarting in Safe mode, but didn't fix anything

Is there anything I can do to come around this problem?

Thank you
