I received an email that my iCloud storage is full and asking me to update to iCloud+ with 50GB for $0.99 per month. the email is addressed to my Apple id account email. I confirmed that the email is not a phishing email and came from Apple. I'm already paying for 200GB per month storage which I confirmed looking at my Apple id storage on my phone, which is the same that the I got emails regarding the iCloud almost being full. I'm unclear what needs to be done.

when viewing my account settings I've only used 12.5 GB of 200GB, so this seems to be some issue w/ my account having two different storage settings. Perhaps this is tied to my wife's phone that is using the same Apple ID.
What is taking up most of your space? You can check through Settings>General>Iphone storage.
