multiple album artwork screensaver playlists

I use album artwork screensaver on my mac. But on my iPad and iPhone it generates not one but over 20 'album artwork screensaver' playlists. Each playlist contains just the track or tracks from one album that is in my library. In some cases there are two identical playlists. Ive tried deleting each playlist manually on both devices but they just come back. Does anyone know how to fix this? As they start with 'A' I have to scroll through them all to find my actual playlists! If there isn't a fix I'll stop using the screensaver I guess though that would be a pity.
