I ordered a a new iPad in February which finally shipped last week. However it also appeared to start the clock on the complimentary 7 day apple care! based on Apple's shipping estimate the iPad will arrive a week after the applecare expires, will this cause me any difficulty purchasing a full applecare subscription on the iPad?

Pretty hopeless way to setup your "complimentary applecare" I hope DHL enjoy it while they have the ipad...
