Hardshell cases for MacBook Pro M1 2020

Good evenings,

I own a MacBook Pro M1 2020. I want to protect it using a hardshell case like this : https://next-one.store/next-one-macbook-pro-13-retina-display-safeguard-fog-transparent . Is it safe to use it without affecting thermal air flow ? Or, is it better to use a a protection sleeve instead ?

Thanks' very much !

Do not use hard or soft shell cases or "skins" on Macs. They will impede the heat dissipation their aluminum housings are designed for.

They will not protect your Mac; they will damage it. Read this. And this. And when you eventually remove it, you are likely to find abrasive contaminants trapped between the case and the Mac, scratching it anyway.

Buy a soft sleeve in which to transport or protect your Mac while you are not using it.

Keep your Mac notebook within acceptable temperature - Apple Support describes how to keep your Mac cool, and specifically cautions us not to cover the keyboard with anything.
