HDR on iMac 24 (2021)

Hi, I'd like to buy a new iMac since my old desktop is now 11 years old. It would be my first Mac. Considering I really like watching movies, TV series...I'd like to know how good is this screen? They all say it's fantastic. Also does it support HDR? Like on Netflix or prime video... I know the specs aren't exactly HDR optimal but does it support it? And I will be able to put HDR on/off with a dedicated option? I have a Samsung TV with a ****** HDR and you can't disable it :((
