Please help!! Audio files stretching to tempo

I've searched everywhere online and this has to be a bug.... I'm trying to import a normal audio file and when I do it syncs the tempo with the project tempo of the project. Flex time is off, Flex and follow in the tempo settings is off, everything is off, and I just redownloaded logic with factory default settings and nothing is working. This is a huge issue because every piece of audio I drag in is now distorted.

Every solution says to go into the smart tempo editor and turn the flex and follow buttons to off but they already are!!

Am I missing anything?
