Its been few days since I deleted all the files and the app but it is still taking up this much of space on my phone. I also tried restarting the phone, turned off iCloud, tried connecting to the computer but it just won't erase my documents and data. Can somebody help me erase voice memos? Thanks.

Well.. that's not what the Apple person said. And clearing my phone of all files and upgrading didn't work. But ok!

Same issue here, my memos takes up 2.39TB, while I only have 256GB iphone. It's crazy
one additional info, while I was on call with apple senior support they made me do Reset All Settings, DO NOT do that on your phone, it has no impact and will not solve this problem at all.

Any further luck since this? I'm still struggling to work it out and my new iPhone13 is just sitting there doing nothing unti lI can get my data across to it.

I’ve gotten nowhere with Apple support….I can’t believe they haven’t found a fix for this yet seeing it is affecting more and more people….anyone else get any father with Apple support?
Updating to iOS 15.6 didn't resolve the issue for me. I have an iPhone 12 Pro, Voice Memos is taking up more than 200GB
Did you update your device to iOS 15.6? This storage issue is addressed in the latest update.
No it isn't. Just updated and it's still taking 30+gb.
Is there any way to do clear it? because I hve tried to restore my iphone. But the storage is still same.
Voice memos is taking up 13 GB even if I permanently deleted all the recordings and the app.
