Two step verification

hi there,

I used my phone as a remote for my apple tv as my apple TV remote is broken.

But since I updated my phone to a later version I keep getting a message for the two step verification code but I can’t put the code on my apple TV because I don’t have the remote.

I don’t want to buy another remote, how can I fix this, so I can continue to use my phone as a remote? It’s suuuper annoying!!!!
