hi there,
I used my phone as a remote for my apple tv as my apple TV remote is broken.
But since I updated my phone to a later version I keep getting a message for the two step verification code but I can’t put the code on my apple TV because I don’t have the remote.
I don’t want to buy another remote, how can I fix this, so I can continue to use my phone as a remote? It’s suuuper annoying!!!!

If you have an 3rd gen or older Apple TV then it requires a physical remote in order to pair with the remote in control centre. If you don't want to purchase a replacement then you will have to find a way to borrow one.
