15.4 home app problems

Since updating to 15.4 the home app on my 13 pro keeps coming up with the pop up to set up intercom. It’s already been set up and keeps coming up when I open the app. Hardly a quick way to control my home having to go through all the options every time. It’s not happening on my 13 mini or iPad Pro.

I have also lost connection to my LG TV when away from home.

Home app works better when I’m not at home! I’ve been struggling with my HomeKit setup since upgrading to iOS 13 last week. Whenever I open the Home app, most devices show Updating or No Response. The weird part is that the problem happens only when I’m at home. I’ve tried connecting via cellular from home, but that doesn’t seem to make a difference. I also pulled out my old Airport Express and set up a new, separate WiFi network at home, which also made no difference. Now it gets weirder: as soon as I leave home, things start to improve. Once I get to the office and connect to their WiFi, everything works way better. It’s not perfect—I’m still getting some occasional no response issues that weren’t there before, but with a little patience, at least I can use the app. I have about 150 HK devices and am running UniFi LR APs and a USG router. My hubs are two hardwired Apple TV’s and a HomePod. Everything worked fine before iOS 13! Oh, and why isn’t there a HomeKit topic on this forum? Thanks!

HomeKit accessories only available on some devices I’ve been having issues with HomeKit for awhile now, a phone call with support got it working last week but it’s once again breaking down. Basically, only a handful of iOS devices can actually control HomeKit accessories, with the rest just showing every accessory “updating” forever. My network setup, if it matters: modem operating in bridge mode to an AirPort Extreme supplying DHCP and NAT services. An airport express is connected by ethernet to extend the network to the upper floor of the house. Current statuses: Home owner Apple ID devices: iPhone 11 Pro: HomeKit working iPad Pro 3rd gen: all updating Late 2018 Mac Mini: all updating 4K Apple TV: HomeKit working 4th gen Apple TV: HomeKit working HomePod mini 1: can’t access HomeKit devices HomePod mini 2: can’t access HomeKit devices HomePod mini 3: HomeKit working Home guest devices: iPhone 8 Max: all updating iPad Pro 3rd gen: all updating 2020 MacBook Pro: all updating Again, which devices are and aren’t working seems to fluctuate, for example last night two of the three HomePods were working. This has been going on for about a month, before that HomeKit was working flawlessly for nearly a year.

We advise that you start off by restarting and making sure all of your apps are up to date, which may help with unexpected behavior of this type.
