Hiding Cursor While Watching Video

Can anyone tell me how to hide my cursor when watching a video (full screen), in Safari (not using Chrome)? Space bar and F8 don’t do the job. TII. MacBook Pro (2019) running Monterey 12.2.1

Move it off to the side.

That doesn’t remove or hide my cursor (in any video or streaming service/app). The cursor/pointer just sits at the side of the screen, still in plain view.
