So in one of my usb-c ports I have a usb-c to usb-a dongle, and in that usb-a port I have a DAC/amp that outputs to 4 pin xlr (my headphones). For some reason, I am unable to adjust the volume on my headphones with both the physical keys and the software menu. In my sound settings it says that the selected device has no output controls. Any way to fix this?

I suspect that the volume can only be controlled by the gain knob on the Monolith HPA.
