Universal Control: "Link Keyboard and Mouse to" option is not available

Does anyone know why "Link Keyboard and Mouse to" option is not available? I have select all Universal Control options and handoff on my Macbook and managed to turn on handoff, cursor&keyboard on my Ipad. However, I cannot use Universal Control. When I look deeper, I realize that I dont have the option to "Link Keyboard and Mouse to" my Ipad.

In addition, my Macbook is managed by my company using company profile, however I still can use Sidecar in my macbook and ipad, so I believe company profile is not the reason of this issue?

Universal Control requires MacBook Air models introduced in 2018 or later. If your MacBook Air doesn't have a Retina display or Touch ID, you won't be able to use Universal Control with that Mac.

Additionally, Universal Control is still in beta, so some features might not work as expected.
