If I use the USB cord or a card reader to upload to my MacBook Pro with the most current version of Ventura, I cannot see the photos in Photos. They ARE imported and I can see the info about the picture but all I see is a grey box where the photo is loaded in the library. I am pretty sure this is an Apple issue and not a Canon issue as I can preview the photos prior to hitting import. I did manage to upload them wirelessly into a pictures folder but all my other cameras would just have immediately imported the pics into Photos. I can't figure out what to do to rectify this issue.

I can not seem to import pictures to photos from my canon camera even though the camera is showing as the source of imports I can not seem to import pictures from my Canon Camera even though when I go through doing what I have always done, the program shows that it is recognizing my canon camera as a device to import from when I turn the camera on. It just does not pull the pictures from the camera for me to then import. The camera seems to be working fine otherwise. The same thing happens when I try to import from the camera to my lightroom cc program. It seems like something is blocking imports into the computer (MacBook Pro)

I am unable to download photo from my canon mark iv. Mac Pro 13 ics to USB is detecting the camera but not downloading New Mac Pro 13 is detecting any camera but not downloading the photos. I tried adobe photoshop, above Lightroom, Canon EOS tool - but same result

Hi there Talking464,

The first thing we recommend is confirming the right steps are being done to Import photos from a camera or phone using Photos on Mac.

While you may need to contact Canon about this, along with checking for compatibility, have you been successful in connecting it to a different computer?
