Maps and location

Over the past few weeks I've noticed that my iPhone 13 Pro (running fully up to date software as of today) keeps getting my location wrong on maps. It seems like it is generally able to tell what direction I'm traveling in, but is around 100ft off from where I actually am. When I use any app (Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze etc) for driving directions, this manifests in the GPS constantly trying to reroute me to the actual path from wherever it thinks I am ~50-100ft away

Salutations Alyssajoye,

We’d like to have you begin by working through the first section in the following article - If Maps isn't working on your Apple device.

1. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services and make sure that Location Services is on and that Maps is set to While Using the App or Widgets.
2. Make sure that you set the date, time, and time zone correctly on your device. Go to Settings > General > Date & Time. If possible, use Set Automatically.
3. Make sure that cellular data or Wi-Fi is turned on, and that you have an active connection.
4. Restart the Maps app. Swipe up on the app and pause, then swipe up again on the app preview to close it. Then open Maps again.
5. Restart your iPhone.
6. Try a different location or switch to a different Wi-Fi network.
Location Services uses GPS, Bluetooth, crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspots, and cellular towers to determine your location.

Thanks.
