"change keyboard type" in keyboard preferences is missing

I just connected a new keyboard to my iMac. I need to switch the type of keyboard but when I go to the apple menu / system preferences / keyboard / keyboard / the button ""change keyboard type" that should be on the lower left corner *according to another postis missing.

The keyboard I am trying to install is a brand new Magic keyboard with numeric keypad 'Spanish', connecting to imac on High Sierra Version 10.13.6

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

You can try restarting but, according to Apple's website, the current Magic Keyboards require a late 2014-15 iMac for compatibility. That may be why it's not showing,

The keyboard mapping is changed in system preferences > keyboard > input sources. Make sure there is just one item on the list, with the name Spanish ISO. Does the keyboard work correctly then?
