Text Do Not Notify or Vibrate When Phone Silenced.
recently I stopped getting notification banners and vibrate when receiving text messages. It is nothing obvious such as notification settings, focus, accessibility, do not disturb or ring tones/vibrate patterns. I called Apple Support and they went through all the settings. Nothing worked. They suggested I replace my three month old iPhone 13 that has the latest iOS. This doesn’t make sense. There should be something I can do without forking over the cost of a new phone to fix a configuration problem.
if this is the only solution then I will be forced to drop Apple because it is too expensive of a fix.
