This question has been raised before but I have gone through all the suggestions:
updated app ( was already on auto updates}
rebooted
deleted app and reinstalled
and still nothing works
this only happens on FB marketplace
the iPad is less than 2 years old. And is on latest software update
I know others have this problem. Will this ever be fixed?

It sounds like this issue is specific to the Facebook app. When you're searching on the Marketplace, it returns you to the Facebook login page. We would confirm you're using a trusted device according to Facebook: Security Features and Tips Under question, 'How do I log out of Facebook on another computer, phone, or tablet?' Which will explain how to check which devices are signed in to your account. Remove all unknown or no longer used devices. Then ensure that your device is listed.

Since Apple does not make the Facebook app, and other apps work just fine, Apple would not be responsible for the functionality of Facebook. If you're still having issues with the Facebook application, you'll need to contact the app developer as mentioned before.

Thanks for the reply but no, it goes to the iPad logon. Then you put your password in and you’re back to the iPad homescreen. Yes it must have something to do with the app but it’s an iPad bug not a Fb one.
Yeah. I’ll just give mark Zuckerberg a ring. Why would you answer with this? I’d prefer you didn’t answer at al, as this is probably the dumbest and least helpful answer anyone could possible give.
