connecting a new set of 4 air tags and one will not connect

I am trying to connect my new set of 4 air tags and one will not connect. I accidentally had it near the found while exploring “found” in the findMy app so I’m unsure if that’s why it won’t connect for set up. I’ve already removed the battery, didn’t help
