Apple Pencil 2 not charging since 15.4 iPadOS update.

My Apple Pencil 2, which I bought from Apple Store India just more than a week ago, suddenly stopped charging (even when mounted over the iPad) after I updated my iPad Pro 5th generation to iPad OS 15.4. It was showing charging all the time but the battery constantly discharged over the period of 1 day. Then I tried to Forget the device and pair it again but all in vain…Now it’s not even pairing. Whenever mounted it only shows ‘Apple Pencil’ in the notification and then nothing happens…….I have also tried restarting the iPad but nothing worked. Looking for possible solutions, Thanks!
