Thunderbolt Display (27-inch) A1407 thunderbolt connect to USB3.2 Gen 2 Type-C™ with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0?

Hello I know this question has been answered years ago and the answer was no, unless the PC you're using has a thunderbolt port. I'm a total n00b when it comes to this stuff...

My laptop ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503 has a USB3.2 Gen 2 Type-C™ with DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0, is that another word for Thunderbolt? So would I be able to use my old apple monitor with this laptop? If so, which adapter can I use to connect these two?

*Could I do thunderbolt to DisplayPort adapter, then DisplayPort adapter to USBC?
