Why can't I access my Music Playlists on my Homepod?

Do you have a subscription to either Apple Music or iTunes Match? One of these services is required to have Siri on HomePod access your playlists. Some iTunes Match users have reported that it doesn't work when recognize my voice is active. You can AirPlay from another source as a workaround.

I have this same issue and I have an Apple Music subscription. Turning off Personal Requests does not resolve the issue. Turning off Recognize My Voice also did not work
