Apple Smart Battery Case Stop Charging.

Hello,

Two weeks ago my smart battery case stop charging my iPhone XR, I’d

took off my iPhone from its case and the led wasn’t green or amber.

I’d get it replaced by claiming the warranty but, the same issue is

still happening with the new case except, the led on the smart

battery case lite in amber and then turn to green meaning its charge

was completed.

When inserting my iPhone into the case, the case was detected at

fully discharged state and then disappear, reappear few more time,

then another time fully charged for finally disappearing.

If I disconnect the charger and reconnecting it, the same thing is

happening again and again.

My iPhone is running the latest version of iOS and I’m using the

official Apple 20W charger and the official 1M USB Type-C to

Lightning cable.

I’d also give a try with a different official 20W charger and the

same issue is happening.

Thank-you,

Guillaume

Hello again guillaume162,

Please contact Apple Support for further assistance with your problem. I at this point clearly think that there‘s something wrong with the charging case because technically, the charging case charges up your iPhone trough the lightning port, and if regular cables do, then the Battery Case should do too. And if it doesn‘t, the Smart Case is faulty.
